I Want You- Electrico

if i keep going for supper every sunday i'll be fat as anything. i know it sounds really bimboish, like, yeah. but i can't help it, because deep down in my innermost being i'm still female.

so yes, the bit between my day and night was interesting. i had the opportunity to hear about making money.
it did sound attractive, but sometimes you know you got to pass up certain things. lucrative as it may be, i don't believe in future money. i know this sounds typically Singaporean but no, i don't believe in future money. either it's here now or it's not.

i mean, i've gone through that period where i wasn't too well-off. like when i was younger i didn't have as many toys as other kids. but that was okay since my grandma always brought me out.
then there was my dad oweing loan sharks money and we had a few mean-looking men patrolling outside our flat for a while.
not to forget my dad's friend who came to harass my maid, after my dad died.
we had some bank issues too. and insurance. and yeah the huge expense of the funeral which most of my so-called close relatives didn't have the decency to help my mum pay for. it was their own brother in the coffin, for goodness' sake.
i suppose that i would have gotten piano lessons if we had more money then.

so yes, money is all-important. Man without money is like clams without seashells. you can die without money, literally.
can dreams and aspirations suffice? yet it doesn't seem too possible to strike a balance between being practical and being over your head, unless you're hmm, drop-dead gorgeous or drop-dead talented.

i honestly hope that mass comm is going to take me somewhere. i've thought about it and yes, i rather live poor than grapple on without meaning.

it's not like i can pack my bags and gold with me when it's time to die.
